Adam Levine Marries Behati Prinsloo in Mexico
Sorry, ladies: Adam Levine is now a married man! The Maroon 5 frontman married Behati Brinsloo Saturday night (July 19) in a private ceremony at Flora Farms in Los Cabos, Mexico.
According to Us Weekly and People, between 270 and 300 people attended the affair which included stars such as Robert Downey Jr., Jason Segal and Jonah Hill. Earlier today, it was revealed that Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac would make an appearance to sing the newlyweds. Fellow 'Voice' judge and good friend Blake Shelton was not able to attend due to a scheduled tour performance in Chicago.
Prinsloo, 25, reportedly wore a custom-made Marchesa dress for her big day. Several of Prinsloo's Victoria's Secret model friends served as her bridesmaids and were in attendance, such as Candice Swanepoel.
Meanwhile, Maroon 5 keyboardist Jesse Carmichael was on hand to serve as Levine's best man, while guitarist James Valentine performed for the ceremony as well.
Levine and Prinsloo began dating in June 2012 and were engaged just a year later. Last November, Levine told former 'Tonight Show' host Jay Leno that he originally never intended to get married.
“I still don’t necessarily think you have to get married unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them," he confessed. "And then you marry them and it’s wonderful.”
Congratulations to the newlyweds, who will be heading off to South Africa for their honeymoon!
