Can it be almost 40 years? Forty years ago, when we were kids, meant Glenn MIller, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. Now it's Def Lepperd, Motley Crue, Poison and Joan Jett. This is the movie "Still Crazy" on steroids.

Those four acts will tour next summer, with stops set on August 20th for Detroit and Comerica Park and on August 28th at historic Wrigley Field in Chicago. In fact, tickets are being sold through Major League Baseball's (MLB) website. Yes, the times, they are a changin'.

Ticket prices are reasonable, starting at $49, and the start time begs for a "blue plate special joke. The start time is 4:30pm. (Though in all fairness, with four band with fairly extensive catalogs, this is probably a good idea.) Tickets go on sale, in a week on Friday, December 13th. The only question remaining is will the Tigers have a field left to play on. The night before this concert is the Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer show on Aug. 19th. Either way, either show will be more entertaining than the Tigers.
