These local businesses are offering discounts and freebies to Veterans today.

Today is Veteran's Day, a day to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.  Take some time to thank a veteran for serving our country and protecting our freedom.

Here are the top 7 best deals and discounts for veterans in our area:

Applebee's: Veterans can head over to Applebee’s and enjoy a free meal. The offer applies to both veterans and active duty military.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries.

Little Caesar's: Free Hot-N-Ready lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Chipotle: From 3 p.m. until closing time, vets can partake in a buy one-get one free burrito, bowl, taco or salad order. The offer is valid for all U.S. military, military spouses with ID and veterans.

Great Clips: Veterans who go to Great Clips for a haircut on Nov. 11 will receive a coupon for a free hair cut valid through Dec. 31.
