Being a single gal my fur baby is the light of my life and I had no idea that pets had their own special day! February 19th is National Celebrate Your Pet Day, so I am wondering what I can do for my pup. According to National Calendar
This holiday is a day set aside to give extra attention to and pamper your pets. This is a good day to focus on the special relationship that you have with your pets.
Care.com has some great ideas on how to celebrate National Love Your Pet Day
- Go on a walking tour of your city
- Stock up on toys together at your favorite pet-friendly store.
- Throw a puppy party
- Take your dog to work
- Sing to your dog.
And just some fun facts...
- Most households in the United States have at least one pet
- More households have dogs than cats
Maybe you don't do a thing, heck it's not like your pets would know if you missed the day. Just give them an extra pet and I personally think they would be purrrrrr-fectly happy!
