4th of July Weekend at Grand Mere State Park
We took our dog to the beach at Grand Mere State Park in Stevensville, Michigan. That was a far longer hike than expected.
I learned something very important on this beach trip. I am out of shape!
As we headed toward Grand Mere, Suzannah read that it would be "quite a hike" to the beach. I greatly underestimated those words. That was quite a hike. Climbing up steep, hot sand dunes while carrying beach bags and walking the dog was far more challenging than expected. I really need to get into better shape.
This morning Tess informed me there is a different path to avoid that rough hike. Where was she Sunday when I needed her?
