Arcadia Brewing Co.
WHAT: Arcadia is a local brewery dedicated to preserving the art of handcrafted, British-style ales. They brew using authentic British equipment, English malted barley, and hops from the US's Pacific Northwest region.
WHERE: Arcadia has two locations: 701 E Michigan Ave in Kalamazoo, and 103 West Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek.

WHAT: Established in 2011, this local brewery is overflowing with Michigan pride. Boatyard hosts weekly Bike Night and Songwriter Open Mic Night events, and offers $1 pints to college students with ID all day on Saturdays.

WHAT: Tibbs is a nano-brewery that specializes in small batch craft beers. Founded in 2007, this brewery is known for its intimate, welcoming atmosphere and its refreshing, experimental brews.

WHAT: This microbrewery, which opened in late 2014, is dedicated to creating a community space centered around art, culture, and of course, craft beer. They're doing so by offering events like weekly board game nights and darts games.

Gonzo's BiggDogg Brewing
WHAT: Gonzo's was created in 2013 by Greg "Gonzo" Haner, who has been micro-brewing beer for two decades. Gonzo's also offers a large dinner menu, complete with beer themed desserts like beer floats and a vanilla porter torte. Yum!

Bell's Brewery
WHAT: One of the best known breweries in the Kalamazoo area, Bell's has been brewing since 1985 and has grown to cover 20 states. Although the actual brewery is now in Comstock, Bell's Eccentric Cafe is located right downtown and offers a spacious beer garden, an art collection, and frequent live music acts.

WHAT: Although technically in Portage, this brewery is still part of Discover Kalamazoo's Give a Craft Beer Trail. Latitude 42 is both a microbrewery and a full-service restaurant, and won Michigan Brewery of the Year 2015 in the New York International Beer Competition, according to MLive.
