60 MPH knocked out power for over 10,000 people Sunday Night.  Most but not all power has been restored.

As a freight train of wind whipped through West Michigan it got dark for many.  Traffic lights, residential power and even a couple radio stations were fighting a losing battle.

According to WWMT as of 8PM Sunday Night,

As of 8 p.m. Sunday, Indiana Michigan Power reported a total of over 10,000 customers without service, with 6,300 in Southwest Michigan. Consumers Energyreported just under 13,000 customers statewide being affected and left without power.

The crews used super human speed while getting the power back up in West Michigan.  Power has been restored for all but just under 2,000 Consumers Energy and I&M customers.

Crews are working around the clock to get power back on for everyone.
