There's actually 119 according to Atlas Obscura. Imagine how long this blog would be if I had done all 119! lol So I went with the top 8 instead.

#1 Go see the abandoned Grande Ballroom concert venue in Detroit known for it's rock counterculture.

#2 Visit the Turnip Rock in Port Austin, Michigan. It's an island just off the shore in Lake Huron.

#3 Go to Ann Arbor and see the fairy doors that have been found in several historic buildings.

#4 Check out the abandoned Michigan Central Station in Detroit. If you love old buildings and architecture this is a must see.

#5 Head to Manistique, Michigan and see Kitch-iti-kipi which is a freshwater spring that fills with 10,000 gallons of water per minute!

#6 Next on the list is Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum in Farmington Hills. The place has a huge collection of coin-operated games and automata to see.

#7 Another Detroit spot makes it in the top 8 with the ruins of St. Agnes Church and School. It was a thriving Catholic church and school back in the mid 20th century. Now it's just a shell of what it used to be.

#8 Marshall makes it on the list with the American Museum of Magic. It's the largest magic museum in the United States! They have more than a half million pieces of memorabilia to see.

On a side note: Some of these places may not be the safest to visit. So just keep that in mind before going on your adventure to see some of the coolest and unusual things here in Michigan.
