Get your thrills at Camp Dearborn this summer.

Camp Dearborn is family friendly recreational area located in Milford Michigan. I have had many friends that literally set up their camp site and stay there all summer long. There is so much to enjoy there, but this week it is going to get even better! The longest zip-line in Michigan is set to open on Saturday July 14th at Noon.

Camp Dearborn boasts on their web-site...

The Zip Line will take patrons on a 1,400-foot ride from the top of a six-story tower on Elm Circle, over Lake #1 and down to the Main Beach.

The ride lasts about 40 seconds and you go at speeds up to 35 miles per hour!

The coast of the rides varies...

For those staying at the camp ground the cost is $13 per ride or $30 for three rides. For everyone else it's $15 per rider or $40 for 3 rides. Tickets can be purchased right at the tower.

Mlive noted that there is a $8.00 gate fee to enter Camp Dearborn for daily visitors but look at all the fun things you can do as well as the zip-line...

  • access to the public beach
  • miniature golf
  • paddle boats
  • Mark Twain boat ride
  • fishing

Worth the drive and heck you can make a weekend out of it!
