This past Sunday was a thrilling time to be a football fan. Between the Super Bowl, The halftime performance from Justin Timberlake and the always anticipated commercials, this past Sunday had it all. But it's what happened at the Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl that has everyone talking.

An estimated total of 1.5 million people tuned in to watch Puppy Bowl XIV Sunday, topping the previous record set in 2010. Everyone was on the edge of their seat to see if Team Fluff could pull off back-to-back victories against Team Ruff. Refereeing the game was "Shirley" the rescue sloth. Opening the game with a breathtaking rendition of our countries National Anthem was "Joku" the piano playing chicken (I'm serious).

Michigan's very own "Luna" had a hard fought game, as she gave up a pick 6 (Fumble which was immediately answered with a touchdown), but also added points to the board herself with a touchdown as shown below from ESPN:

In the end, it was Team Fluff who would ultimately score in the final minute to edge out Team Ruff, 52-47, taking home the "Chewy.com Lombarky Trophy." Another Puppy Bowl is in the books and now the big question is, "will Team Fluff be able to make it a winning streak next year at Puppy Bowl XV?" We will have to wait another year to find out. Congrats to Luna on helping your team win and bringing glory and prestige to Michigan.
