Michigan Couple Played Over 1,000 Games During Pandemic
Trying to find a way to pass the time while you're cooped up with your partner?
Mike and Florence Nagy of Livonia, Michigan found a way to fight the boredom. This adorable couple that just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary have been playing Uno! Lots and lots of Uno. Over 1,000 games of Uno over the last couple of months. Florence talked to the Detroit Free Press about how they reached their 10,000th game on Sept 8th,
It's just kind of a way to fill the day. We play almost every day at 3 p.m. On the other days that we don't play, we FaceTime with our daughter and our son-in-law and our grandson who live in Ohio. We haven't been able to see them ... and we play Yahtzee over FaceTime.
This idea may not work for all couples. I'm very competitive. That could make for months of drama. Mike however, has taken his losses in stride as his wife is currently leading 545 victories to 455. In Mike's defense, he's not big into playing games but he's enjoying time spent with his wife of over fifty years.
