It's the most wonderful time of the year. I'm talking about right now, Halloween. But directly following that is the second most wonderful time of the year...I guess. In all seriousness, winter is coming and the holiday season is right around the corner, but it doesn't have to be all bad. Word just came in recently that the event Magic of Lights, which tours the country will be on full displays at the DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, MI this winter.

Running from November 13th until January 2nd, this drive-thru experience, which saw great success with Jurassic Quest earlier this year will include over 1 million lights and bring in people from across the state. The only other light show in the state that comes close to that is Rochester's Big Bright Light Show which is held every winter with over 1 million lights hung on every building in the downtown district. Dave Clark, president of Live Nation’s Michigan division expressed his excitement to the Detroit Free Press:

We look forward to having Magic of Lights at DTE Energy Music Theatre for the first time and making it a holiday tradition in our community for years to come. There is nothing quite like bringing together family and friends for the holiday season as well as generating jobs for our local economy in a new creative way.

Tickets for the event run $15-$35 per vehicle and can be purchased here. Below is a look at the setup they had at the Magic of Lights at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama.
