Last Night’s Vigil in Kalamazoo

My fiance' and I attended last night's vigil in downtown Kalamazoo.  The national media really put the "zoo" in Kalamazoo.

I've never seen so many TV trucks packed into one small area in my life.

Once we made our way through the media and into the First Congregational Church, it was overwhelming.  To say the place was packed would be an understatement.  I was very touched to see the turn out.  The community overflowed into all rooms of this very large church.

Following touching words from many local religious leaders we lit our candles and gathered outside.
