When it comes to breakfast, sometimes keeping it simple is the way to go.  No one understands this more than our friends at Kellogg's, who are set to open a Kellogg's Cafe in New York City on July 1st.

This isn't your ordinary cereal bowl, though.  With menu items like "You're Cracklin' Me Up" (Cracklin' Oat Bran, dried cranberries, white chocolate, toasted coconut), Kellogg's promises the familiar flavor with a new bite. You can even choose to have your cereal over ice cream instead of milk.

Who knows?  If this is a hit, you could see Kellogg's Cafes popping up in other major cities.  Battle Creek, perhaps?

This isn't Kellogg's first foray into trendy Manhattan. In 2014 the brand opened a 'Recharge Bar' with a similar concept. That temporary pop-up proved popular enough to try the idea full-time.

Sure it's not the bright lights of Broadway, but Michigan Avenue proved good enough for the mascots of Kellogg's during the 2016 Grand Cereal Parade in Battle Creek.
