KalamazooKitty to Take Over Old Stein Mart Location in Portage

I could spend hours walking around KalamazooKitty and still not see everything. From the more rustic and shabby chic finishes to the more Boho and Art Nouveau beauties, Kitty's collection of home furnishings and one-of-a-kind finds never fails to impress. And it's about to get a whole lot bigger.

According to their Facebook page, KalamazooKitty is moving in to the old Stein Mart location in Shops of Romence Village in Portage.

Having been in business only ten years, Kitty is a little surprised by the need for more space. "I never would have believed that we would be moving into such a large space in 10 years," she said, "however, it seems that no matter how much space I have, it is never enough! I knew there was a need for this in the community," she said.

But now she's going to have even more space to fill, and that means more room for local artists and people seeking consignment. "The new Stein Mart location will be an amazing opportunity to reach the Portage community who did not travel out to my Portage Rd. location. It is a place for Shop Owners to have their own dream Shop within KalamazooKitty without all the expenses of owning a brick and mortar," she said.

Not only will the space add more shops in the new location, Kitty is looking at possibly adding a cafe inside, as well. "2021 is going to be amazing!" she exclaimed.

Kitty is shooting for a February 13th grand opening of the bigger, better KalamazooKitty.
