Kalamazoo Issues Boil Water Order After Water Main Breaks near Stadium, Michigan and Lovell Sts.

The City of Kalamazoo is fixing a broken water main near just west of the Stadium Drive/West Michigan Avenue and West Lovell Street intersection.

The city has also issued a precautionary Boil Water Order for that area, due to the temporary loss of water pressure. Any water consumed should be boiled for at least two minutes. Washing yourself is okay.

The city says tests are underway and the boil order should last no longer than 3 days.
