The number of places throughout the state of Michigan where you can buy a hunting or fishing license is plentiful. If you are planning on legally pursuing game in any season, one of your first steps should be purchasing a license and putting it where you can quickly find it while in the field.

Michigan hunters have paid dearly (sorry, intended that one too) for their lack of planning. The Lansing, Michigan DNR Customer Service Center has an entire wall dedicated to confiscated racks.
