Have You Seen These Strange Traffic Lights Around Kalamazoo?

Driving down M-40 between Paw Paw and Lawton Sunday I drove by something I've never seen before.  Have you seen these portable traffic lights around Southwest Michigan yet?

That same weekend I saw the same thing on M-43 on my way to South Haven.

It's like a merge arrow sign and a traffic light had a baby.
