Grand Valley State Coach Surprises Player On Video

The GVSU basket ball coach surprises Ben Lubitz with the news he had just been accepted into nursing school.

I love when moments like this are caught on video.  The video is awesome on its own, but the back story gives it an even stronger punch.  Ben Lubitz wants to be a Registered Nurse.  He applied 3 times and was denied each time.  He recently applied for a 4th time which lead to this amazing moment as seen on the Caters Clipers youtube page,

On November 1, Grand Valley State Lakers basketball coach Ric Wesley was holding a talk with his players about career opportunities at the GVSU Basketball Arena in Allendale, Michigan, when he surprised 22-year-old Ben Lubitz with some unexpected news.
