
Elton John Calls It Quits But Not Before He Spends 2 Nights In Michigan
Elton John has decided to retire and it is for all the right reasons!
Elton John started his career at the young age of 15 playing at a local pub near his parents home. Now after an amazing career, the 'Rocket Man' is retiring! According to Mlive.com...
"Performing live fuels me and I'm ecstatic and humbled to continue to play to audiences across the globe," said John. "I plan to bring the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades to my final tour. After the tour finishes, I'm very much looking forward to closing off that chapter of my life by saying farewell to life on the road. I need to dedicate more time to raising my children."
Elton John will perform more than 300 concerts across five continents on his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour beginning in September 2018 and ending in 2021.
Here is the BEST part, Elton will be at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Friday, October 12, and at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Monday, October 15.
Tickets ($49.50, $124.50, and $224.50) go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, February 2 at 10:00 am.
This is pretty cool, American Express Card Members can purchase tickets in advance in North America beginning Thursday, January 25 at 10 am local time, through Monday, January 29 at 10 pm.
