Did You Know Stingray from Cobra Kai is From Grand Rapids?

The man you've seen play the lead roll in the movie Richard Jewell, Stingray in Cobra Kai and Shawn in I, Tanya is from West Michigan.

Before Paul Walter Hauser began what is now a very busy acting career he was a Michigander.  According to Wikipedia he was born in Grand Rapids and raised in Saginaw.  He attended a private school in Saginaw called Valley Lutheran High School.

To say that Hauser has been busy over the last couple of years would be an understatement.  He currently has 4 movies in post-production with another movie completed and waiting for release according to IMDB.  That's in addition to his 2020 appearances in Reno 911!, Da 5 Bloods and Adam.  That's a lot of projects in a pandemic year.  He also starred or appeared in 8 other projects in 2018 which include a movie about the heartbreaking story of the man falsely accused in the Atlanta Summer Olympics bombing, Richard Jewell.

It's great to see another Michigander on the cusp of an amazing Hollywood career.
