Dave Chappelle Skipped Out On A Flint Benefit Show But Makes Up For It In a Big Way

Dave Chappelle was supposed to appear at a benefit show in Flint, Michigan for the victims of the water crisis and bailed.

According to TMZ, he got an invitation to go to the Oscars with Chris Rock so he skipped out on a benefit show in Flint.

He apologized by saying, "I'm sorry everybody.  I've never been to the Oscars. You see the movies I make."  Not only did he apologize, he rescheduled a performance on Wednesday night and donated ALL of the proceeds to the children who've been affected by the Flint water crisis.  He ended up donating $50,000.  Way to go Dave Chappelle!
