Banana Peel Challenge [VIDEO]

Remember planking?  That was an odd internet trend that had people lying down in weird places.  Somehow that went viral.  The current internet trend if far more dangerous.  It's the Banana Peel Challenge.

Sunday Night Jason Oakes tweeted his hilarious #bananapeelchallenge video and it went bananas.  In less than 48 hours his tweet as over 87,000 retweets and over 90,000 likes.

Ok, it's hard to deny how funny that video is.  However, if you'll allow me to sound like an old man.  This trend is surprisingly dangerous.  This could be the next "hoverboard."  It won't be long until we get reports of broken bones and emergency room visits as a result of the #BananaPeelChallenge.

Now you'll find hundreds if not thousands of teens trying to recreate Jason Oakes' dramatic fall.  The Banana Peel Challenge has been around for a couple years.  But nobody really seemed to take notice until his hilarious fall.
