Kalamazoo Valley Community College Wins 2017 Beer Championship
Let's raise a glass. The Kalamazoo Valley Community College "Brewin'" Cougars are the 2017 U.S. Open Beer Champions. The U.S Open is a competition for schools and universities that teach brewing courses. It's also way to point the next generation of potentially great brewers across the United States.
Kalamazoo Valley Community College in Kalamazoo, Michigan took home the Grand National Championship as the best college program in North America. This Michigan college took home a gold for their 9009 Stout, a bronze medal for their Babb’s Tradition Weizen and another bronze for their Falcon’s Puddin’ Strong Ale.
