This morning WDIV 4 announced VIA The Parade Company that this year's 91st annual America's Thanksgiving Parade Grand Marshals are Detroit news icon Carmen Harlan and recording artist Big Sean. Harlan was a News Anchor for Channel 4 Detroit for 38 years and Big Sean has worked with some of the biggest names in music.

Tony Michaels, President and CEO of The Parade Company stated :

We are honored to have Big Sean and Carmen Harlan- two remarkable Detroiters who have contributed tremendously to our community-as Grand Marshals of America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van. Big Sean and Carmen represent the incredible spirit of our city and we are thrilled to have them celebrate with us in Detroit and with the millions who view The Parade across the country.

America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van will be broadcast on Thursday, November 23. The Parade will be featured on WDIV-TV Local 4, which also includes a one-hour national broadcast. Being one of the largest and most celebrated Thanksgiving parades, it will be available for viewing in over 190 cities.
