TGI Friday's Coming Down In "Controlled Burn," Training Exercise

Even as it vanishes from the Kalamazoo restaurant landscape, the building on West Main that housed TGI Friday's and prior to that, Carlos Murphy's, is in the spotlight one last time.

The Oshtemo Fire Dept. Chief says the department is taking advantage of having a commercial building like this available. "Theatrical smoke" is being used to simulate smoke conditions.
