Starbucks is already pricey enough...

According to Cosmopolitan, You may want to start  budgeting a bit more money for coffee each week-- Starbucks prices are about to increase. Apparently, there was a computer glitch that upped the prices too soon.  Starbucks usually raises its prices during the first week of July, and this year the price increase was supposed to occur on July 12th.

Starbucks released a statement,

"[the] price adjustment was prematurely entered into the point of sales systems in our U.S. company-operated charge."

This means your barista may have unknowingly charged you incorrectly, up to thirty cents extra per drink. If you think you were overcharged for your drink due to this error, Starbucks says you should call customer service at 1-800-782-7282.

The error has been corrected, so you shouldn't see higher prices until July 12th. Last year the company only increased drink prices between five and 20 cents, and the company hasn't commented on which drinks will have higher prices this year, or just how much higher those prices are going to be.
