Check out these two Southwest Michigan teens that are making some pretty cool music.

Cora Howe and Gavin Talmage are both seniors at Gull Lake High School.

17-year-old Cora has been singing her whole life which includes singing in school choirs, talent shows, doing the national anthem at basketball games and in a traveling Childrens choir for many years.  She pulls inspiration from some of her favorite artists like Khalid, Rod Wave, Billie Eilish, Halsey, Post Malone, Russ, Drake and many more.

This is what Cora had to say about what inspired the song 'Should Have Let You Go,'

This song was initially inspired by a boy that I thought I was in love with and broke my heart. I wrote this song to express my feelings and share my story of it. My friend Gavin and I produced this song in his basement and it is out now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon, SoundCloud, Tik tok, etc.

Gavin is 18-years-old and just started making music in March of this year.  His top 3 music influences are NF, post Malone, and the kid laroi.  Gavin has really enjoyed music production and engineering and hopes to keep improving and growing an audience.  You can find more of his music by searching "Gavin Talmage" on any music streaming service.

Currently two of Cora's friends from Compass College of Cinematic Arts in Grand Rapids are producing a music video for the song.  As soon as that video is uploaded, we'll post it here.

While we wait for the official music video, take a listen to "Should Have Let You Go" by Cora Howe and Gavin Talmage below.

We wish the best of luck to this very talented Southwest Michigan duo.
