New Event Venue Making Its Way Into Holland

Later on this year, the City of Holland will be getting a new event venue which is expected to be finished this fall. The Holland Planning Commission has recently approved the renovation of the building located at 393 Cleveland Avenue, which will become Port 393. Although renovations are not expected to begin until this spring, the venue is already taking bookings for this fall, according to Fox 17.

The building, which is 6,500 square feet building will include a rooftop bar with a view of Lake Macatawa and will be able to host parties of 200 people. The venue will have a parking lot with 50 car spaces. The venue is also less than a block away from the Kollen Park boat launch. Those guests of the new venue who like to live lavishly could potentially arrive by boat. The owners say the venue say it will be ideal for weddings and corporate events. No word yet if it will be a prime location for live music events or if any have been booked.
