Unseasonal Temperatures Mandate Half-Days for Area Schools on Monday, September 25

Fall is officially here but forecasts calling for near-record high temperatures again on Monday have resulted in several Kalamazoo area schools dismissing students after a half day of classes.

Our friends at WWMT-Channel 3 have the complete listing of schools limiting activities to a half-day on Monday, September 25; here are the highlights:

  • Climax-Scotts Schools
  • Comstock Public Schools
  • Gull Lake Community Schools

Other area schools are in session for a full day of classes. Whatever you have planned for today, be sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you are outside in the heat for an extended period of time.
