I ran my first 5K at the Kalamazoo Marathon.  I surprised myself.

I know, I know...we all have excuses why we don't work out.  Well, here's mine.  Right after I made the commitment to run my first 5K I was moved from Middays to Mornings.  Getting up at 3am is a tough adjustment.  Not to mention, we are badly short staffed right now at 103.3 KFR.  I'm easily doing the job of 3 people.

With that being said, I haven't trained at all.  But I pushed hard.  I finished my first 5K in 38:50.  That's a 12:09 mile pace.  I'm pretty happy with that.  However, I pushed myself pretty hard to get that time on no training.  My legs hate me right now.
