When it comes to a managerial role, many of us succeed because we are good at multitasking, but the process of opening up your own business can be daunting in itself, let alone when that business is already a new life adventure as it is. This was the case for Jake Lohse, who owns and operates Presidential Brewing Company in Portage.

Jake started off just brewing beer for the fun of it. What transpired was a passion and love for creating new things that caught on in popularity within the brewers club he belonged to.
