Is Kevin Nash going to be in Battle Creek?

Kevin Nash was set to make a special appearance this weekend in Battle Creek for wrestling promotion Pure Pro Wrestling for their 'Battle In The Creek' event on October 29th.

Why is Kevin Nash canceling his appearance for Pure Pro Wrestling?

Kevin Nash tragically lost his son, Tristen Nash, last week. The promotion made the announcement and offered condolences on social media:

PPW Management has been informed that Kevin Nash will not be appearing this Saturday night at Battle in the Creek 2 at Kellogg Arena. Kevin & his Wife Tamara are currently mourning the loss of their son Tristan. Kevin's Agent has informed PPW that Kevin will make up the date in the future.

What did Kevin Nash say about his son Tristen's passing?

He spoke about what happened on his 'Kliq This' podcast just 4 days after the family announced his son's death:

We both decided that we were going to stop drinking, so it was a situation where we both went cold turkey. I don't think either of us felt great because you stop drinking coffee for a day, and you get a headache. I think that we were both dealing with it.

How did Tristen Nash die?

According to his father, Tristen died following a seizure:

The seizure caused a cardiac arrest. He was basically dead in his room on the floor with the EMT working on him. They got him back and got him in the ambulance, and tried to save his life.
