Southwest Michigan School Host Lions’ Jameson Williams Camp
The Detroit Lions were once the laughingstock of the NFL but have always been the golden #1 in the hearts of football fans across the state of Michigan. For years, the Lions were one of the worst teams in the league and fans would be disappointed year after year, but that has all changed in the last 3 years. The Lions have started to ascend as one of the best teams in the league and the Mitten State is rejoicing with them.

They have done an amazing job in the last few years of bringing in new talent using both the NFL draft for young talent and the free agency market to find talented veterans to lead their team. After making a trade to send their beloved quarterback to Los Angeles in exchange for up-and-coming QB Jared Goff, they needed to get him new offensive weapons. One of those weapons is former Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams who has finally made a splash on the scene.
Jameson Williams first two seasons in the Big Leagues were plagued with injuries but now he is healthy and is making plays all over the field for the Detroit Lions. He has made tacklers miss, caught long touchdown passes, and brought unmatched energy to the team. Now, he is looking to share all of those skills and knowledge with the next generation of football players here in Michigan.
Jameson Williams and FlexWork Sports will be hosting a football camp for young players in Southwest Michigan in the summer of 2025. In July of 2025, Jameson Williams will be leading a camp at Parchment High School in Kalamazoo County from 9am to 1pm. The camp is open to boys and girls who are between the ages of 6-16 and aspiring to get better at football.
Both Jameson Williams and FlexWork Sports have collaborated with the Parchment Athletic Department to bring this wonderful opportunity to the young boys and girls of Southwest Michigan who love football.
