Detroit, Michigan native Antoinette Harris picked up a scholarship to be the first female football player for a junior college.  Antoinette "Toni" Harris, has big dreams and is working hard to achieve them according to Rocket Nation,

“My dream since I was a little girl was to be the first NFL female player. I take that dream seriously; I train seven days a week and twice a day with a personal trainer. We train four hours every afternoon to work on speed and hand-eyed coordination.”

A few other women have played college ball in smaller leagues, but they are usually kickers.  Toni plays free safety as you can see by the practice video below.

 

OK, so where will she be breaking all of these barriers?  According to TheSpun.com,

Bethany College, an NAIA program in Kansas, came through with the offer. The Swedes were 5-5 on the season in 2017.
