URGENT! I-94 Closed – 90 Car Pileup

Multiple vehicle pileup on I-94 has closed the freeway down between mile markers 85 and 92 in both directions.  I-94 maybe close through late evening.

WWMT - Channel 3 has reported that a semi hauling 40,000 lbs of fireworks is currently on fire.  Fireworks is launching at the scene of the accident.  Multiple semis and multiple passenger vehicles are involved.  Michigan State Police report 70 vehicles in the West bound lane and 20 in the East bound lane are in this pile up on I-94.

Traffic is currently backed up for miles in both directions.  Winter Storm Warning until 4PM this afternoon.  We could see wind gusts up to 45MPH.  Stay off the roads if possible.  Please avoid I-94.
