Join this family friendly event in Kalamazoo where kids of all ages can touch and learn about fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, race cars and more.

What: The Junior League of Kalamazoo's 6th Annual Touch-A-Truck, an annual fundraising event for the JLK.

When: Saturday, May 13th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Where: The Kalamazoo County Expo Center and Fair Grounds

Admission: $10 per family, or $4 for adults and $2 for children (2 and under free).

Touch-A-Truck is a FUN EVENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Come meet the people who build, protect, and serve our community in these vehicles. Visit the Kids in the Kitchen station to learn about healthy eating and fun physical activities. Enjoy the Activity & Coloring FunBook, Snack Station, Bounceland and Food Trucks.

The Junior League of Kalamazoo (JLK) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. With over 50 unique vehicles at Touch-A-Truck, there will be something here for everyone! Families can enjoy Kids in the Kitchen activities, an initiative to promote healthy living choices, including making smoothies with the Fresh Food Fairy, burning some energy while jumping in bounce houses, receiving a 30 day food and activity journal created by JLK, coloring in our Activity Book “Fueling our vehicles, Fueling ourselves” created by JLK and printed from a generous donation from Trestlewood Pediatrics, and even free dental check-ups from the Colgate Bright Smiles mobile dental van.
