As we go past the one month mark on Stay Home, Stay Safe, one of the main concerns has been getting Covid-19 testing to the masses. While testing has yet to reach the masses, RiteAid, through a deal with the federal government has begun rolling out self testing. The Rite-Aid drug store in Kentwood is one of the first to offer self testing tent.

WOODTV.com reports the facility opened on Wednesday, and has seen some thirty people self test in the first hours of its operation.

According to RiteAid, you have to be pre-registered and then have an appointment to take the self test. Registration must be made by 1pm to get an appointment the following day. They are emphatic that no one without pre-registration can get appointment will be test. You can find out more and make that appointment here.

Testing hours are 9a-5p and test results are expected in less than a week. RiteAid plans to continue testing until at least late May.
