I am not as creative as most, but I managed to create a garden bed with a pallet!

Pallet Palooza is a great event that is put on by Goodwill Industries of South West of Michigan.  People from all over South West Michigan picked up a pallet, and put their DIY skills to work. Stunning masterpieces have been made, everything from furniture, to wall hangings.

I personally made a garden box for my back porch, and it was pretty easy!

  1. I used a hand saw to cut down the pallet.
  2. Tacked flower pots into/onto the pallet.
  3. Screwed in a couple hooks (on the pallet as well as the fence).
  4. Planted a herbs.
  5. Ta-Da, my new garden box.

My pallet creation was pretty simple, but you will be amazed at the pieces of art people create. You can check out all the cool things that people have made out of pallet wood over the next few weeks.
