If you've ever dreamed of owning a salsa company before, now is your chance to capitalize! I was really bummed to hear from Metro Times that the Ferndale, Michigan salsa company, Garden Fresh, is being put up for sale by the Campbell's Soup Company. If you have ever been lucky enough to try their salsa from Meijer, than you know what I'm talking about.

Campbell's is selling Bolthouse Farms and the Campbell’s refrigerated soup brands in addition to Garden Fresh. The salsa factory's Ferndale location currently employs over 300 people and there has been no word yet on whether they will be able to keep their jobs once a sale takes place.

Garden Fresh started out in the late 90's and since then have expanded to producing tortilla chips, hummus, and dips. The products will still be available where distributed until the sale. I'm gonna have to take a trip to the store and grab me some while I still can.
