If you haven't been, you're missing out

To promote the importance of reading to children, I went to the Leila Arboretum in Battle Creek and am blown away. It is a 72 acre park open from sunrise to sunset. The site features a Children’s Garden, Natural History Museum, Perennial Gardens, A Native Flower Garden, and Peace
Labyrinth.

“The mission of LAS is to preserve and enhance Leila Arboretum for all to appreciate horticulture and the arts in a natural environment.”

We had a lot of fun reading, coloring and meeting new people.  Did I mention Leila Arboretum has a farmers market stand every Tuesday and Thursday?!  I got some fresh tomatoes and I can't wait until I go back for more next week!
