Arcadia Brewery to Open Thursday

The long awaited time has come.  Over months of construction and anxious anticipation Arcadia's Kalamazoo Riverfront Brewery, Pub and Kitchen is finally opening this Thursday, May 8!

This Thursday will begin the ribbon cutting ceremony at 3pm, accompanied by the Kalamazoo Pipe Band.  I don't know about you, but I can't wait to get my hands on a Whitsun.  The weather is going to be oh so nice, around 80 degrees, and that will give me the refreshing taste of summer that I have been looking for.

If you can't justify drinking a beer on a beautiful day, then come on down to participate in the "Drink One Down - Support Your Town".  All proceeds from tap sales during this Thursday's event will be donated  to a local charity, Big Brothers and Big Sisters - A Community of Caring.  I know the beer is good enough for me, but this is a HUGE bonus!  Who doesn't enjoy helping their community, especially when it involves beer.

See you all this Thursday!  If you can't make it, you can also look forward to the soon to open beer garden and Canoe/Kayak launch coming early this summer.
