The museum will host the 6th annual "DeutscheMarques all-German car show" on Saturday, July 8. The museum says last year, over 250 German cars were on display to over 1,500 attendees. One of the stars of this year's show will be feature Janis Joplin’s 1965 Porsche 356 – her ‘daily driver’ car until her untimely death.

This will be the second appearance this year the Gilmore for the car, having been on display for a car show in April.
