Shailene Woodley - from the Divergent Series, and The Fault in Our Stars - was arrested for trespassing in North Dakota on Monday while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline.  In all, 27 people were arrested in the protest, which occurred at a construction location. Most were for criminal trespassing, though there were two felony arrests, for protestors who chained themselves to construction equipment.  Woodley posted video of the protest on Facebook.

"It's really actually quite hilarious to me. How can you deny clean water to so many people who are standing up and saying this is what they want? It's just mind-blowing.”

Hitched

Shia Labeouf and his girlfriend Mia Goth got married in Vegas yesterday by an Elvis impersonator.  They live-streamed it, so it could have been a stunt  but as far as anyone knows, it's a legit marriage.  They met while making the 2012 movie "Nymphomaniac".  He's 30, she's 23.

The AMA's

The nominees for this year's "American Music Awards" were announced yesterday, and Drake  leads the way with 13 nominations.  That's a new record, surpassing the 11 that Michael Jackson got in 1984.  Drake was nominated in basically every category.  Rihanna had the second-most with 7, and Adele and Justin Bieber both got 5.  ABC will air the AMA’s live from L.A. on Sunday, November 20th.  There's no word on a host yet.  You can find ALL the nominees at theama’s.com.  AND, YOU will choose the winners.  Voting is open now at AMAvote.com and you can also vote on Twitter by including the nominee's handle, the category, and the hash-tag #AMAs.
