6 Ways to Signup for Your COVID-19 Vaccine in Michigan

Reliable information from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services about multiple ways to get signed up for the Coronavirus vaccine.

We hear a lot in the news about the efforts underway to get shots into arms and distribute the Coronavirus vaccine to as many people as quickly as possible. Much of the work has been left to State and local governments to map out a plan to get that done. Michigan is hard at work and has at least six ways for you to get information you need to get protected.

Our goal is to ensure that every eligible Michigander who wants a vaccine will get one. We know that residents across Michigan have different needs when it comes to access, so we’re partnering with groups like local health departments, hospitals, pharmacies, and 2-1-1 to provide multiple access points for signing up for a vaccine.

Michigan.gov/COVIDvaccine

• This is the hub where you will find the most up-to-date information about vaccine eligibility, safety information, and clinic locations. Simply select the appropriate County and get local health department vaccine information.

COVID-19 Hotline

• Those without internet service or ability may call 888-535-6136. The number is staffed from 8-5 Monday through Friday to answer any questions.

Reach out to your local Health Department or Hospital

• Many have now created sign ups, interest forms and waitlists, based on eligibility.

Local Pharmacy

• You can signup now at Meijer to get your free COVID-19 vaccine, with more local pharmacies coming online soon.

2-1-1

• No internet needed. 2-1-1 is a free, confidential service that connects residents to local community-based organizations across the state offering not just COVID information, but thousands of different programs and services for people seeking answers.

• These webinars offer special help for seniors to overcome the challenges they may have of navigating the internet on their own.
