This week our Small Michigan Town Series stops in the Village of Bloomingdale.
With a population of less than 500 residents, this is one of the small towns we've featured in this series. Here are 5 things everyone from Bloomingdale knows.
5. Jeptha Lake Golf Course
Bloomingdale has a great practice course according to this tripadvisor review,
This is a great little par 3 course that is very well kept, beautiful setting and ran by a great staff.
4. One Love Oasis
Ken Chorley had this to say about One Love Oasis on Facebook,
Camping at this property will completely change your life! I had a life-changing heart-opening experience at a workshop on the property that Open My Heart! I would attend any event held on the land well worth the trip. The beautiful six-acre Spring fed Lake is beyond words and refreshing to the soul. I have taught workshops on energy on the property and it is amazing.
3. Bloomingdale Bar
Dencrocket of Kalamazoo gave the Bloomingdale Bar a glowing review on TripAdvisor,
Stopped here one Sunday while taking a long drive in the country and am glad I did, it's a little known hidden gem. The burgers were great. I had the Olive Burger and my companion had Bloomingdale Bar Signature Burger. We shared our burgers and we both agreed that they may have been the best we ever had. We had the Brew City Fries (waffle fries loaded with bacon, onion and cheddar cheese) with our burgers and they were awesome. Bonus beers were $1 and they had live music. 2 burgers, 2 beers, bacon cheese fries and tip under $30. Will definitely go again.
2. Bloomingdale Bent and Dent
Jennifer V gave Blooomingdale Bent and Dent a 5-star review at yellowpages.com,
Everyone should stop by and check this store out. A wonderful store.
