Giovanni Ricci is proof that you don't have to play for a big time, powerhouse conference to get noticed. Ricci has been named a semi-finalist for the John Mackey Award, honoring the best Tight End in college football this season. Teammate RB LeVante Bell has been named a semilfinalist for the Doak Walker Award, given to the best running back in college football.

Going into the bye week, last week, Bellamy was "leading the country in rushing touchdowns with 21, total points scored with 126 and total touchdowns scored with 21.
