It was a long night for the Western Michigan Bronco football team. They would tease you at times, making you think maybe they could play with Michigan State. But just as they would start to move the ball, disaster would strike, with quarterback Jon Wassink throwing interceptions just as the team looked like it was about to score.

For Michigan State, one night against the Western Michigan defense, and it seemed to cure what ailed them as the piled up 51 points and could've made it 60,  The 51-17 final was not indicative of how how close the game was.

There were a few bright spots for the Broncos. One was another acrobatic catch by a Bronco wide receiver. This time it was Sky Moore making a sideline catch and keeping his toes in bounds.

Western (1-1) heads home to Kalamazoo, to take on Georgia State on CommUniversity Night.

One last bright spot, depending on your perspective, was those Michigan State uniforms. Bright in terms of color, not necessarily in terms of appeal. It might be fair to say, Oregon and Maryland might be proud or think not loud enough.
