When Did Arby’s Switch To Coke?
I asked for a Mountain Dew at the Arby's drive thru on Gull Rd in Kalamazoo and they say, "how about a Mellow Yellow?"
"How about you cancel my order?" Yeah, I said it. I'm not the only one that feels this way. The reaction on Twitter seems to be agreeing with me.
It's not just a local thing. Apparently, while I've been busy living my life and loving Mountain Dew... Arby's switched the fountains in all of their stores nationwide to coke products.
According to Adage.com Arby's announced their plans to switch in August of 2017,
Arby's said back in August that it planned to switch from serving Pepsi-Cola carbonated soft drinks to Coca-Cola ones, but restaurants only recently began converting their soda fountains to Coke products from Pepsi ones.
I hope you're paying attention to this crash and burn Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, Applebees and Quiznos.
I'm sure here in "Coke Country" I'll be in the minority on this, but what do you think? Are you happy about the change or are you done with Arby's? Let us know in the facebook comments.
