Congressman Fred Upton's office announced that four Southwest Michigan health clinics have received $4 Million in grants as they deal locally with the coronavirus pandemic.

The four clinics are:

  • Covered Bridge Healthcare of St. Joseph County, Inc.
  • Family Health Center, Inc. in Kalamazoo
  • Intercare Community Health Network
  • Lakeland Immediate Care Center

We need all hands on deck as we fight the coronavirus crisis, that’s for certain, and this additional funding will provide critical resources our health centers desperately need as they care for patients and save lives,” Upton said. “But there’s more to do. We must continue all efforts to get more protective equipment into the hands of our health care workers.” - Rep. Upton's release

The grants are being awarded through the health center Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding, which Upton voted for and President signed almost two weeks ago.

As always, it's important to wash your hands frequently, not touch your face, keep a distance of six feet from others, and keep living area clean.
